ICRA's highest credit quality rating to AIG short-term fund
MUMBAI:
Rating federal agency ICRA have assigned an mfAAA (pronounced meter f ternary AAA) to AIG
Short-Term Fund, an open-ended income fund. The evaluation bespeaks highest
credit quality evaluation assigned by ICRA to debt funds, a release said here today. The rated debt transports the
lowest recognition risk, similar to that connected with long-term debt obligations
rated in the peak recognition quality category. "The evaluation should, however,
not be construed as an indicant of the prospective public presentation of the mutual
fund strategy or of volatility in its returns," ICRA said. Launched in February, the AIG
Short Term Fund have a declared investing aim to seek to bring forth income
from a portfolio constituted of short-to-medium-term debt and money-market
securities.
